Bernardo Sambra

Conservation Photographer · Ocean · Amazon

For over two decades, Bernardo Sambra has documented the beauty and fragility of our planet's most vital ecosystems — the ocean and the Amazon. Through his lens and through the two organizations he founded, The Living Oceans and Amanatari, he has spent two decades doing one thing: revealing what we are at risk of losing.

He has published three award-winning books, organized international exhibitions featuring the world's leading underwater photographers, and brought his thirty years of leadership experience entirely to the service of conservation. His work has been shown at the United Nations, Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, and on stages from Stanford to Singapore.
